Michael Paczas, MD

PaczasMichael Paczas, MD received his BSE in chemical engineering at the University of Michigan in 2000. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2004. Dr. Paczas completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Case Western Reserve/University Hospitals of Cleveland in 2009. He completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Mary S. Stern Hand Fellowship in Cincinnati in 2010. Dr. Paczas has published articles in peer-reviewed journals regarding various wrist and elbow research topics. He has presented research studies at national meetings. Dr.Paczas has authored a book chapter on tendon reconstruction in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. He is ca current member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the hand. Dr. Paczas joined Dr. Guiboux and Dr. Placzek in 2010 at Michigan Hand and Wrist, PC. He treats both adult and pediatric patients with a wide-variety of conditions including trauma, arthritis, sports injuries and microvascular reconstruction.
